Paradip met coke imports slump 71% in Jan m-o-m

February 11: A volume of 12,286 tons of met coke was imported through Paradip Port in January 2015 while there were 42,327 tons of imports of the material through the port in December 2014, showing a drop of 70.97%, as per provisional data available with ICMW.
In January 2014, volumes were at 51,406 tons.
Total imports of met coke via the port during the first 10 months of the current financial year (2014-15) stood at 580,194 tons against 521,594 tons imported through the port during the same period of 2013-14.
Total met coke imports through this port for the entire financial year of 2013-14 amounted to 736,796 tons.
