Paradip’s March anthracite imports drop 75% m-o-m

April 13: Anthracite coal imports through the port of Paradip in March 2015 stood at 12,520 tons while in February these were at 49,900 tons, showing a drop of 74.91%, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In March, two consignments arrived from Russia at a price range of Rs 7,233 – Rs 7,548 ($115-120) per ton.

In February, 43,500 arrived from the Russian Federation in a price range of Rs 7,131-Rs 7,758 ($114-124) per ton and the balance 6,400 tons from Vietnam at a unit price of Rs 15,402 ($247).
