Paradip’s Nov anthracite imports spurt 297% m-o-m

December 11: Anthracite imports through the port of Paradip in November 2015 were at 33,800 tons while the volume in October was 8,500 tons, thus showing a spurt of more than 297%, albeit on a low base, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In November 2015, a single consignment arrived from China at a unit price of Rs 13,686 ($204).

 In October 2015, all consignments arrived from Russia at a price range of Rs 5,282 – Rs 5,689 ($80-87) per ton.
