Paradip’s anthracite imports drop 53% in Jan m-o-m

Anthracite imports through the port of Paradip in January 2016 were at 20,000 tons while the volume in December 2016 amounted to 42,951 tons, thus showing a drop of 53.43%, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In January 2016, a single consignment arrived from Russia at a unit price of Rs 6,064 ($90).

In December 2015, a volume of 34,651 tons arrived from Russia at a price range of Rs 5,777 – Rs 5,810 ($86-87) per ton and 8,300 tons arrived from Vietnam at a unit price of Rs 12,020 ($179).
