Paradip’s pet coke imports surge 162% in Dec m-o-m

Pet coke imports through Paradip Port in December 2015 were at 74,924 tons while the preceding month of November saw 28,544 tons of the commodity coming in, consequently increasing by a huge 162.48%, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In December 2015, a volume of 21,000 tons arrived from China at a price range of Rs 8,756 - 13,092 ($131-196) and 53,924 tons from Saudi Arabia at a unit price of Rs 3,598 ($53).

In November 2015, a volume of 12,037 tons arrived from Indonesia at a unit price of Rs 11,849 ($179) and 16,508 tons from the US at a unit price of Rs 8,256 ($126).
