Pet coke exports via Chennai Port dwindling

July 25: Pet coke exports through the port of Chennai comprised a mere 5 tons in June while the same for May was at 2 tons, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In June, the material was exported to Oman at Rs 33,100-Rs 33,132 per ton while in May the same was exported to Oman in a price band of Rs 33,085-Rs 33,549 per ton.

In April, a single ton of pet coke was exported to Oman at a rate of Rs 32,941 per ton. In March, 2 tons went to Kenya at a unit price of Rs 25,533.
