Pet coke exports via Vizag Port rise 65% in Dec m-o-m

A volume of 25,000 tons of pet coke was exported through the port of Vizag in December 2015 against 15,126 tons in November, showing an increase of 65.28% month-on-month, as per provisional information available with ICMW.
There had been no exports of the material in October.
Exports of pet coke have been erratic in general. A quantum of 25,000 tons had been exported through the port in September, though there had been no exports of the material in the previous month.
In December, the entire volume went to Saudi Arabia at a unit price of Rs 18,536 per ton.
In November, 9,000 tons went to Mozambique at Rs 18,959/ton, 6,000 tons to South Africa at Rs 18,959 per ton and the balance 126 tons to Bangladesh in a range of Rs 10,774 - 11,092 per ton.
