Pet coke imports via Gangavaram drop sharply in March

April 9: Pet coke imports via Gangavaram Port stood at 4,872 tons during the month of March 2014, sharply down from 26,822 tons recorded in February, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

During March 2014, the entire material came in from Ukraine at a price of Rs 19,475 ($309) per ton.

However, in February, the entire material came in from China at a price of Rs 41,662 ($670) per ton.
