Pet coke imports via Gangavaram fall 66% in Oct m-o-m

November 17: Pet coke imports via Gangavaram Port stood at 30,000 tons during the month of October 2014, sharply down by 65.76% from 87,605 tons recorded in September, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

In October 2014, the entire quantity came from the US in a price range of Rs 5,915-Rs 6,233 ($95-$100) per ton.

However, during September 2014, 28,600 tons came in from China in a price range of Rs 18,204-Rs 18,227 ($295-$298) per ton whereas the balance 59,005 tons came in from the US at a price range of Rs 5,843-Rs 5,915 ($95-$102) per ton.
