Pet coke imports via Gangavaram sharply up in May

June 12: Pet coke imports via Gangavaram Port stood at 113,703 tons during the month of May 2014, sharply up by almost four times from 26,115 tons recorded in March, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

During May 2014, the material came in from USA at a price range of Rs 6,432-Rs 6,770 ($106-$111) per ton.

However, in April 2014, the entire material came in from China at a price range of Rs 18,962-Rs 18,966 ($314) per ton.
