Pet coke imports via Mormugao Port falls sharply in March

April 10: Pet coke imports via Mormugao Port stood at 5,000 tons during the month of March 2014, down 96.58% from 146,302 tons imported during the month of February 2014, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

In March 2014, the entire material came from Kuwait at a price of Rs 13,934 ($225) per ton.

During the month of February, 10,666 tons came from Indonesia at a price of Rs 14,377 ($228) per ton and the rest of 135,637 tons came from the United States at a price range of Rs 11,565-Rs 11,613 ($184-$186) per ton.
