Pet coke imports via Mormugao Port sharply up in April

May 23: Pet coke imports via Mormugao Port stood at 68,320 tons during April 2014, sharply up from 5,000 tons imported during the month of March 2014, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

During April 2013, imports of the material stood at nil through the port.

In April, the entire material arrived from the US at a price of Rs 10,678 ($176) per ton whereas in March 2014, the entire material came from Kuwait at a price of Rs 13,934 ($225) per ton.
