Pet coke imports via Mundra at 82,500 tons in Dec

January 16: Imports of pet coke via Mundra Port stood at 82,500 tons during December 2014 while in the previous month, no such imports took place via this port, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

During December 2013, pet coke imports via the port stood at nil.

During the first nine months (April-December) of 2014-15, total pet coke imports through the port stood at 224,941 tons against 114,791 tons recorded during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.

In December 2014, the entire material came from Canada at a price range of Rs 5,762-Rs 5,810 ($92-$93) per ton.
