Pet coke imports via Vizag Port at 111,223 tons in Sept

October 9: A volume of 111,223 tons of pet coke was imported through the port of Vizag in September, 2014, according to provisional information available with ICMW.

There were no pet coke imports through the port in August.

In September, 36,484 tons arrived from China in a band of Rs 8,565- Rs 25,330 ($140-415) per ton, 44,105 tons came in from Canada at a unit price of Rs 5,979 ($97) while the balance 30,634 tons arrived from the US at a unit price of Rs 8,974 ($147).

However, in July, the quantum was at 64,211 tons with 37,318 tons coming in from China in a band of Rs 8,271 – Rs 11,970 ($136-197) per ton while the balance 26,893 tons had arrived from the US at a unit price of Rs 13,118 ($218).
