December 10: Pet coke imports through the port of Vizag edged down 3.07% to 86,035 tons in November 2013 against 88,768 tons reported in October 2013, according to provisional information available with ICMW.
With this, imports of pet coke in the first eight months of 2013-14 stood at 743,576 tons against 485,757 tons recorded during the corresponding period of 2012-13.

In November 2013, 59,286 tons arrived from China in a price band of Rs 11,213 – Rs 16,179 ($178-$256) per ton and 26,749 tons came in from the US at a unit price of Rs 11,015 ($175).
In October, 55,783 tons arrived from China in a price band of Rs 11,215 – Rs 16,473 (180-$258) per ton, while the balance 32,985 tons arrived from Kuwait at a unit price of Rs 14,584 ($234).
