Pet coke imports via Vizag spurt 144% in March

April 9: Pet coke imports through Vizag Port spurted by over 144% to 80,588 tons in March 2015 against 32,993 tons in February 2015, according to provisional information available with ICMW.

In March 2015, a volume of 60,699 tons arrived from China in a price band of Rs 9,025 – 22,224 ($143 -354) per ton and 29,889 tons came from the US at a unit price of Rs 9,592 ($153).

In February, a single consignment arrived from Kuwait at a single price of Rs 12,731 ($204).
