Poor demand for G-3 grade coal in Nov e-auction

December 30: Poor demand was witnessed for G-3 grade coal (GCV between 6,401 and 6,700 Kcal/kg) offered for allotment via the e-auction platform of MSTC during November as out of 7,500 tons of coal offered by Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) only around 1,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,070 per ton.
On the other hand, in October, moderate demand was witnessed for G-3 grade coal offered for allotment as out of 43,500 tons offered by Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) and Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL), around 38,000 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,809 per ton.
