September 27: There was poor demand for G8 grade (GCV 4,901 to 5,200 Kcal/kg) coal offered on the MSTC platform by Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), South Eastern Coalfields (SECL) and Mahanadi Coalfields (MCL) in August 2013 as 258,750 tons got offered from which 76,210 tons got allotted.
In July, however, 13,600 got allotted from the 28,650 tons offered, according to information available with ICMW.
