July 7: Poor demand was witnessed for G1 grade coal (GCV more than 7,000 Kcal/kg) on the e-auction platform of coaljunction in June 2014 as only 26.6% of the offered quantity got allotted out of a total offered quantity of 30,000 tons and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 5,470/ton.
