Poor demand for G1 grade in Feb on coaljunction

After a gap of one month, poor demand was witnessed for G1 (GCV above 7,001 Kcal/kg) grade of coal as out of offered quantity of 43,000 tons, only 1,500 tons were allotted through coaljunction in February 2016 at a weighted average of Rs 5,568 per ton as per data available with ICMW.
There was no offering for G1 in January 2016 on coaljunction.
However, low demand was witnessed for G1 grade in December 2015 on coaljunction as out of the offered quantity of 30,000 tons by North Eastern Coalfields Ltd (NECL) only a small quantity of 7,570 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,651 per ton.
