Poor demand for G1 grade in March on other platform

Poor demand was witnessed for G1 grade (GCV above 7,000 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CIL for allotment through MSTC in March 2016 as out of 43,000 tons offered, only 200 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,770 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
G1 grade coal was not offered by CIL for allotment through MSTC in February 2016.
Similar kind of poor demand was witnessed for G1 grade offered by CIL for allotment through MSTC in January 2016 as out of the entire offerings of 30,000 tons, 3,080 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 5,488 per ton.
