September 4: There was a poor demand for G3 grade coal (GCV ranging between 6,400 Kcal/kg and 6,700 Kcal/kg) at the e-auction platform of coaljunction in August. Out of a total quantity of 64,778 tons that was offered, about 37.32% or 24,172 tons got allotted at a premium of 0-30%. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,456 per ton
In July, out of a total quantity of 81,488 tons that were offered, about 88.02% or 71,728 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 4,359 per ton.
