Poor demand was witnessed for G6 grade (GCV 5,501 to 5,800 Kcal/kg) coal offered for allotment by CIL in March 2016 via the e-auctions conducted on MSTC as out of the entire offered quantity of 306,650 tons, 58,270 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,032 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
However, fair demand was witnessed for G6 grade coal offered for allotment by CIL in February 2016 via the e-auctions conducted on MSTC as out of the entire offered quantity of 199,720 tons, 65,160 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,099 per ton.
Good demand was witnessed for G6 grade coal offered for allotment by CIL in January 2016 via MSTC as out of the entire offered quantity of 152,220 tons, 62,882 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,169 per ton.
