Porbander February coal handling up 179% m-o-m

Handling of coal by Porbander Port stood at 54,440 tons in February 2016, an increase of 178.55% from 19,544 tons handled in January 2016, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

However, during the first 11 months (April-February) of 2015-16, coal handling by this port stood at 357,592 tons, showing a fall of 16.15% from 426,479 tons handled in the same period of 2014-15.

There was no handling of coal by the port in February 2015.
