Port, highway projects worth Rs 9,672 cr cleared

The Public Private Project Appraisal Committee (PPPAC) and the Empowered Committee (EC) in the finance ministry have cleared a total of 7 projects, entailing an investment of Rs 9,672.12 crore, an official release said.

Of the total, six are road projects and one under ports, it said.

The release said that of the total number of projects cleared, four are in Uttar Pradesh and one each in Maharashtra and Himachal Pradesh.

The port project is in Goa, it said.
