RPower’s Q1 net profit up 1.66%

July 21: Reliance Power Limited, on July 18, reported a 1.66% rise in its net profit for the April-June quarter of 2014-15 to Rs 244 crore against Rs 240 crore reported in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, the company said in a statement.
During the first quarter of 2014-15, the company’s total income stood at Rs 1,811 crore, up from Rs 1,206 crore reported in the same period of the last financial year.
The company’s flagship Sasan ultra mega power project (UMPP) commissioned two of its five operational units during the current quarter. The company’s Rosa power units generated 2,464 units while the Butibori power plant in Maharashtra generated 873 million units during the period under review.
