S Africa’s coal exports fall 24.17% in Jan m-o-m

February 11: South Africa’s coal exports through Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT) fell 24.17% in January 2015 to 6,027,702 tons from 7,949,328 tons exported in December 2014, according to data available with ICMW.
During the month of January 2014, coal exports through RBCT stood at 4,569,076 tons.
In fact, South Africa’s coal exports through RBCT rose 1.71% in calendar 2014 (January-December) to 71.24 million tons (mt) from 70.04 mt in CY2013, as per data.
