S Africa’s coal exports rise 11.32% in Nov m-o-m

December 3: South Africa’s coal exports through Richards Bay Coal Terminal (RBCT) rose 11.32% in November to 7,112,245 tons from 6,389,015 tons in October, according to data available with ICMW.
Exports during the month were also higher by 17.20% from 6,068,566 tons exported in October 2013.
Exports to Asian countries, except India, during the month stood higher at 951,944 tons as compared to 579,615 tons exports in October, while that to Atlantic countries rose to 3,738,393 tons from 2,147,790 tons.
