September 16: South African and Australian steam coal prices inched up further on September 13 amidst indications of increased enquiries, but Indonesian prices remained flat on continued lack of demand from Indian companies, industry sources said.
“Indian companies are still not in the market in a big way,” they said.
South African coal price inched up by $0.25 per ton on September 13, recording a total gain of $1.10 during between September 10 and 13.
