December 24: Spot prices of standard grade South African coal eased marginally on December 23 on weak demand and subdued market outlook for coming quarter, market sources said.
Prices of Indonesian coal were also down in the absence of demand from Chinese and Indian buyers, they said.
The freight market showed a flat trend.
