December 11: Spot prices of South African steam coal advanced further on December 10 on higher European enquiries amidst prospects of reduced supplies from Colombia from next month onwards, industry sources said.
With this, South African coal prices have moved up by around $3.20 per ton since December 4.
Australian and Indonesian coal prices remained largely unchanged amidst slight improvement in enquiries, they added.
