July 28: The sport price of standard South African coal rose sharply on July 25 in anticipation of restricted supplies from Russia, but others remained largely unchanged, market sources said.
Continued pressure was witnessed on Indonesia and Australian steam coal prices amidst lack of Chinese demand, they added.
Freight rates from South Africa to India also firmed up in anticipation of higher cargo availability, they said.
