SCCL misses off-take target in May

June 4: Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) achieved total coal off-take of 4.277 million tons (mt) in the month of May 2014, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

The May off-take was about the same as 4.272 mt recorded for the previous month (April 2014).

However, SCCL’s May off-take was lower than the monthly target of 4.707 mt set for the period. In April too, the company had missed its monthly off-take target of 4.381 mt.

Altogether, during the first two months of 2014-15, SCCL achieved total off-take of 8.549 mt, against the target of 9.088 mt.
