September 4: A good demand was witnessed for the coal offered by Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction during the month of August, 2013.
In August 2013, a total of 82,700 tons of coal was offered for allotment out of which 67,871 tons or 82.07% got allotted, attracting a low premium ranging from 0-31%. The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,676 per ton.
However, In July 2013, a total of 100,000 tons of coal were offered for allotment out of which 88,789 tons or 88.79% got allotted, attracting a low premium ranging from 0-29% and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,250 per ton.
