July 4: A fair demand was witnessed for coal offered by Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction during June 2014 as out of 174,600 tons offered, 170,512 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,343 per ton.
However, moderate demand was witnessed for coal offered by SCCL for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction during May 2014 as out of 302,600 tons offered, 243,834 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,297 per ton.
On the other hand, good demand was witnessed for coal offered by SCCL for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction during April 2014 as out of 144,500 tons offered, 116,258 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,293 per ton.
