March 5: Good demand was witnessed for coal offered by Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) for allotment through the e-auction platform of coaljunction during February, 2013 as out of 287,000 tons offered, 271,338 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,215 per ton.
However, during January, 2013 out of 108,000 tons of coal offered, 86,335 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,702 per ton.
Meanwhile, in December 2013, out of 273,000 tons of coal offered, 196,285 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,525 per ton.
