February 5: Good demand was witnessed for coal offered by Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) for allotment through e-auction by coaljunction during January, 2013 as out of 108,000 tons offered, 86,335 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 1,702 per ton.
However, during December 2013, out of 273,000 tons of coal offered, 196,285 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,525 per ton.
Meanwhile, in November, a total of 92,000 tons of coal was offered for allotment out of which 82,000 tons or 89.13% got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,793/ton.
