SCCL’s coal loading by rail exceeds target in Dec

Singareni Collieries Company Ltd’s (SCCL) coal loading by railways was up 34.4% to 82 rakes per day, against 61 rakes per day recorded for the same month last year, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
The December 2015 loading significantly exceeded the target of 54 rakes per day set for the month, the data shows.
For the first nine months of 2015-16, rakes loading by SCCL stood at 69 rakes per day, higher than 58 rakes per day reported for the same period last year, and also higher than the target of 68 rakes per day for the period.
For fiscal 2015-16, the yearly target for CIL’s coal loading by railways stands at 65 rakes per day.
