Singareni’s coal loading by rail exceeds target

Coal loading of Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) by railways stood at 66 rakes/day during April-November 2015, exceeding the target of 59 rakes/day set for the period, according to data available with ICMW.

This was higher by 13.8% in comparison with 58 rakes/day recorded for the same period last year, the data shows.

In the month of November 2015, SCCL’s rake loading was up 20.9% to 75 rakes/day, compared to 62 rakes/day recorded for the same month last year.

The November performance was also significantly higher than the target of 65 rakes/day set for the month. In 2015-16, SCCL’s annual target for rake loading is 65 rakes/day.
