SCCL’s coal off-take at 4.69 mt in January

February 3: Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) achieved total coal off-take of 4.69 million tons (mt) in January 2015, about 2.4% lower than 4.804 mt achieved in December 2014, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

The January off-take was also lower than 5.10 mt targeted for the month, the data showed.

Earlier, monthly coal off-take by SCCL stood at 4.41 mt in November, 4.36 mt in October, 4.002 mt in September, 4.08 mt in August, 4.11 mt in July, 4.03 mt in June, 4.277 mt in May and 4.272 in April, respectively.

Altogether, during the first 10 months (April-December) of 2014-15, SCCL achieved total off-take of 43.035 mt, against the targeted 45.357 mt.
