SCCL’s coal off-take at 4.804 mt in Dec

January 9: Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) achieved total coal off-take of 4.804 million tons (mt) in December 2014, about 8.9% higher than 4.41 mt achieved in November, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

The December off-take, however, was lower than 5.288 mt targeted for the month, the data showed.

Earlier, monthly coal off-take by SCCL stood at 4.36 mt in October, 4.002 mt in September, 4.08 mt in August, 4.11 mt in July, 4.03 mt in June, 4.277 mt in May and 4.272 in April, respectively.

Altogether, during the first nine months (April-December) of 2014-15, SCCL achieved total off-take of 38.345 mt, against the targeted 40.257 mt.
