SCCL team visits South Africa, Mozambique

November 10: A three-member team from Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) has completed its visit to South Africa and Mozambique for exploring mine acquisition opportunities in those countries, a company official told ICMW.

“A three-member team, led by a board member, went to these countries in October. The team has just returned and will share their findings,” the official said.

Based on the inputs, a committee will be formed to pursue the opportunities existing in those markets, he said.

Asked about the initial findings, he said, “It will be premature as the team is yet to submit its report to the board.”
