SCCL to send team to Indonesia, Australia

November 12: After a visit to South Africa and Mozambique, Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) is set to send its team to Indonesia and Australia for exploring mine acquisition opportunities in those countries, a company official told ICMW.

“The company has decided to send its team to Indonesia and Australia as well,” the official said.

He however said the schedule for the proposed visit was yet to be finalised. “The schedule will be finalised after the management reviews the outcome of the recent visit to African countries,” he added.

Last month, a three-member team from SCCL, led by a member of the board, paid a two-week visit to the coal mines in South Africa and Mozambique. The team is expected to submit its findings to the board shortly.
