STC floats tender to procure 0.65 mt Indonesian coal

 November 12: The STC Ltd has floated a tender on behalf of Bharat Oman Refineries Ltd (BORL) to procure 650,000 tons of low sulphur Indonesian coal.

 The last date for submission of offer is December 1, 2015.

 Delivery of the material has to be made between January 2016 and December 2016.

 BORL operates a 6-million tons-per-annum refinery at Bina in Madhya Pradesh.

 The company is looking to procure coal with GCV (ARB) of 4,600 Kcal/kg (min), sulphur content (ADB) of 0.2% (max) and total moisture (ARB) of 28% (max).
