November 4: Seaborne coal prices remained largely unchanged in the international markets on November 1, as buyers in India and China continued to defer their procurement plans, industry sources said.
High grade South African coal showed marginal easing amid lacklustre trading and low volumes. Freight rates too continued to soften and declined by around $0.25 per ton for Panamax vessels bound from various ports to India.
