October 21: Out of 184,914 tons of G-4 grade (GCV between 6,101 and 6,400 Kcal/kg) coal offered by CCL, ECL, WCL and SECL for allotment through the e-auction platform of MSTC in September 2013, 171,974 tons got allotted.
In August, however, out of 327,642 tons of this grade offered by BCCL, CCL, ECL, WCL and SECL, 259,926 tons got allotted at low premium over the reserve price.
The weighted average price of this grade in September was at Rs 4,436.61 against Rs 3,555.48 in August.
