September anthracite imports via Vizag edge up m-o-m

October 9: Anthracite coal imports through the port of Vizag increased marginally by 0.81% to 10,081 tons in September 2014 against a volume of 10,000 tons reported in August, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In September, 10,000 tons arrived from Russia at Rs 6,802 ($110-112) per ton while the balance 81 tons came in from China at a unit price of Rs 26,419 ($433).

In August, however, all the consignments arrived from Russia at a unit price of Rs 6,802 ($111-112).
