Shandong July coal output up 14.4% on y-o-y

Eastern China’s Shandong province produced a total 15.29 million tonnes of raw coal in July, dipping 1.02% from June but up 14.37% from the year prior---the sixth straight yearly increase, Shandong Administration of coal mine Safety said in a statement on August 5.
Total raw coal output of the province stood at 89.26 million tonnes over January-July, down 2.35% year on year.
Of this, the provincial-owned mines produced 65.85 million tonnes of raw coal over January-July, down 1.03% on year; while the output from mines owned by municipal and lower-level governments fell 3.19% on year to 23.41 million tonnes.
