Sharp fall in pet coke imports via Marmagoa in Jan

March 4: A small quantity of 8,000 tons of pet coke was imported via Marmagoa Port in January 2015 as compared to 101,095 tons imported in the previous month (December 2014), according to provisional data available with ICMW.

In January 2015, the entire quantity of 8,000 tons came in from Kuwait at a price of Rs 14,207 ($221) per ton.

During December 2014, out of the entire quantity, 20,370 tons came in from China at a price of Rs 9,823 ($157) per ton, 12,201 tons came from Indonesia at a price of Rs 10,713 ($171) per ton while the rest of 68,524 tons came from USA at a price range of Rs 8,675-Rs 8,927 ($136-$140) per ton.
