April 17: Imports of gypsum via Mundra Port stood at 55,362 tons during the month of March 2015, against 762 tons imported in February 2015, showing a sharp rise, according to provisional data available with ISMW.
During 2014-15, total imports through the port were at 170,220 tons against 35,380 tons seen in the previous fiscal.

In March, 157 tons came from Iran at a unit price of Rs 3,356 (53) while 55,205 tons came from Oman at a price range of Rs 1,088-Rs 8,448 ($17-$135).
In February 2015, 454 tons came from Iran and 308 tons from Oman.
